IRS At Your Door, continued:
Provide the auditor with the records
they ask for, but be sure to review them
in advance and make sure they are
complete and in order.
Cooperate. (But never volunteer
information.)
Monitor the flow of information the
auditor sees by personally copying any
documents which might be requested of
you.
It may be well worth your
time to consider these tips, and give you
more assurance and confidence if ever
faced with this scenario.

More Limitations
on ADA
In March, the 10th Circuit Court of
Appeals limited the scope of ADA.
The Court determined that
accommodations required for a disabled
worker could not require the company
to reassign that employee to a
substantially different position. The
Court further said that such
determination goes beyond fighting
discrimination, and imposes
requirements on employers not
intended by Congress when it passed
the ADA in 1990.

Truth Never Dies
by Abraham
Lincoln
You cannot bring about prosperity by
discouraging thrifts. You cannot
strengthen the weak by weakening the
strong. You cannot help the wage-
earner by pulling down the wage-payer.
You cannot help the brotherhood of
man by encouraging class hatred. You
cannot help the poor by destroying the
rich. You cannot keep out of trouble by
spending more than you earn. You
cannot build character and courage by
taking away a man's initiative and
independence. You cannot help men
permanently by doing for them what
they can do for themselves.
